John Martin guilty of the highway robbery of Edward Bryan in the parish of Eccles on 15^th September 1789: robbing him of a silver watch (valued at £5), a pair of silver knee buckles (valued at 3/-), a pair of velveteen breeches (valued at 4/-), a linen shirt (valued at 2/-), a pair of bottom stockings (valued at 2/-) and a silk handkerchief (valued at 1d).
